ABOUT

ABOUT NATALIE

Natalie Nearchou founded the London School of Pole Dancing (LSPD) to fulfil a lifelong ambition involving the art of movement, dance, gymnastics, and rhythm.  The idea came to fruition when a health complication from surgery led to a need to focus on energy to build strength.  Starting with good nutrition Natalie then began to take up pole dancing, soon it became obvious that the muscles were defined, strength, stamina, and agility were flowing and a passion was realised.

Natalie first worked with the talented Stacy from Estonia for a period of 2 years, after which Stacy then introduced Natalie to the inspirational world champion professional, principal dancer and choreographer Elena Gibson, who gave Natalie an excellent grounding and is a mentor for life.  Now with over 17 years of pole dancing experience and a member of the Pole Dancing Community Natalie offers a complete programme from beginners to advanced pole dancing classes.

POLE DANCE FITNESS

The art of pole dancing is recognised as a form of body conditioning, amongst many attributes it can:

  • Improve blood circulation

  • Tone muscle groups

  • Strengthen the core

  • Keep the body flexible.

Through choreography, it is a trained dance form which stimulates the mind, increases the metabolic rate to burn calories and expose a leaner physic.  It uses its own body resistance to increase endurance by muscle repetition.

Its popularity is increasing and will continue to grow as an artistic dance movement and an exercise form.
